-3 epic medjool dates
-1 frozen banana
-1 cup+ water (add less for a thicker drink)
I always used to question and..judge all the raw foodist/youtube people slash ANYBODY that added medjool dates to their fruit smoothie. I was like, WHY would you make something sweet, sweeter?! Except now I know, if you want a calorie-dense, filling, easily assimilating sugar source for your body and energy reserves, YOU GOTTA ADD THOSE 'JOOLS!
This smoothie is SO vibrant, I feel so happy drinking it (can you tell I'm on a study break..). It's a deep dark purple.
