chinatown is ma new hometown.

i bought 3 young thai coconuts for $6, and a lb of GOJI BERRIES for $5.99 compared to $24.99 for half that much at the local health food store.

cool. except i need a sweet goji berry recipe, and a lesson on how to open these thai coconuts.
smashing them against the sharp part of your locker does NOT work.

LIVE! organic food bar tomorrow :)

  5. to open young coconuts, you have to stand them up, then hack away a circle from the top. imagine your crowning the coconut with knife cuts. dont use your best knife!
once you`ve hacked away a circle >(should take 4-5 hits in a circle), pry off the cut away piece and dig in!
there are probably things online that would give you a better visual but maybe this helps
